Matthew Pullicino

I offer guitar and drum lessons to dedicated students ages 10 and up in Hamilton and online.

Driven by creativity and an endless need for expression, I have been performing as a drummer, composing and teaching music for over a decade.

I cut my teeth by performing in various musical outfits throughout Canada, from college bars and weddings to theatres and outdoor music festivals. With thousands of hours of performing experience, I have developed into a dynamic and versatile performer with a distinct sound. I can serve the music while leaving my mark and giving the audience a memorable performance.

While budding as a performer, I taught music and quickly found a love for it. I taught students of all ages and skill levels. From one-on-one lessons to lectures with more than thirty students at a time. A notable experience was the six years I worked with An Instrument for Every Child, a non-profit making music education more accessible for children in financially challenged neighbourhoods by providing them with free lessons and instruments. Sharing my knowledge of music strengthened my love for it.

They were very formative years, with many fond memories, but the turn of the year has brought forth new goals and values. This newfound direction has me diving deeper into who I am as an artist and person. My heart is in sharing what I know through educating and composing. I am accepting dedicated students and composing music for my original project, scheduled to be released this year.
